Journalist / Photographer
ABOUT ME
My name is Jenny Green and I’m a 27 year old Photographer. I am a college graduate from Bloomsburg University where I studied Journalism. I love being active, I enjoy swimming, running and hiking, horseback riding, singing, reading and most importantly, photography and writing. I am very close with my family and have a never ending list of places I want to travel to and things I would love the opportunity to see. My dream job is to become a travel writer and photographer.
I have been passionate about writing since about 8th grade. It was clear to me since then that this is something I am good at and love doing. Photography has always been a huge part of my life, but I have realized my passion for it more recently. To me, it can be an amazing way of expression and emotion. I want to capture real, timeless moments and be able to tell their stories.
In 2019 I took the Gallup StrengthsFinder report to examine my five top dominant traits. In ranking order, I was found to be high in adaptability, development, empathy, input, and positivity. Relationship building is a dominant skill of mine. Strategic thinking is also a dominant skill I possess based off this examination of my talents. I tend to go with the flow, recognize and cultivate the potential in others, sense other people’s feelings, and have contagious enthusiasm.
